The Mothra No Tamagotchi is a Tamagotchi based upon Japan's Mothra movie. It was released in Japan in July of 1997. It was never released internationally. It has a cocoon stage that is similar to the Morino. It came in three different colors, the transparent blue being the most coveted and expensive.

Startup
When you startup your Mothra, you will see Mothra flying around on the screen. Press the B button to go to the time screen. Use the A button to set the hour. Use the B button to set the minutes. Press C when you have entered the correct time.
The egg will bounce on the screen for few minutes, then your tama will hatch.
Status
The status menu will show you information about your umino. You can see the age, weight, training, humger, and happiness.
Food
The food menu allows you to feed your Mothra. The meal will fill one hungry heart. The snack will fill one happy heart.
Game
The game icon will let you play a game with your Mothra. This is a simple guessing game, where you will choose which hole has Mothra hiding in it. It is completely by chance. There is no trick to it. You will need to guess correctly at least 3 out of 5 times to win.
Cleanup
Use this icon to clean up Mothra's poop.
Discipline
Sometimes, your Mothra will misbehave, and begin attacking a tower. Use this icon to discipline it, and raise Justice.
Medicine
Your Mothra can become sick. Use this icon to give it medicine and cure it. This can take multiple doses.
Light
Your Mothra will need you to turn out the light when it goes to bed. Use this option to turn the light off. The light will automatically turn on when it wakes up.
Attention
When your Mothra needs something, it will call for you, and this icon will light up.
Set clock
Hit the B button on the character screen to go to the clock screen. Press the A and C button simultaneously to enter the set time mode. Use the A button to set the hour, and the B button to set the minutes. Press C when you have entered the correct time. Press B to go back to the character screen.
Mute Sound
On the character screen, press the A and C buttons simultaneously. Press again the turn the sound back on.
Tips & Tricks
- To get the fairy character, never let your hunger/happy hearts completely empty during the first development stage.
