================================================================================

GENERAL INFO

This patch was initially a proof of concept and confirmation that the tamagotchi
P's firmware can be changed. But that aside it is a very handy tweak tool.

The Tamagotchi P's has a new feature called Deco Pierces. These Deco Pierces are
small accessories that can be pierced (thats why they are called Pierces) into a
small slot at the front of the Tamagotchi P's.

By linking a pierce to your Tamagotchi P's from the heart menu, additional
content will become available. Once a Pierce has been linked it can be safely
removed from the P's as it is no longer needed. But to prevent abuse (lending
Pierces from other people or returning Pierces to the shop after use), Bandai
has added some protection: When a Pierce is not connected within 12 hours, the
Pierce will be unlinked and the Pierces extra content will no longer be
available.
This is where this patch kicks in. By modifying a single instruction in the
firmware this protection is disabled. Meaning you can now remove your Pierce
and keep it in a safe place protected from getting weared and scratched.

VDPs

With the arrival of VDPs (Virtual Deco Pierces) in October 2015. This patch is
almost mandetory. Because reinstalling VDPs every 12 hours makes it hard to get
the transformation character as after each re-install you will need to use the
characters favorite item 3 times all over again.
